Langkawi Trip @ 21/06/09 (Day 2)

Second day @ Langkawi (continued...)

I went to Mahsuri Tomb with one of my friend. We visit the museum & her tomb. In museum, there is story of Mahsuri, Mahsuri's family, Mahsuri's wedding, her childhood, antique weapons & stuffs, etc. Well, there are other interesting things as well such as the Malay style houses & etc. I just spent about 20 mins here & we rushed ourselves to Gamat Factory.

Note: Entrance fee: RM 5.00
(adult)

We stopped at Nusantara Maju Enterprise for Gamat stuffs.
Not to promote for Nusantara... Just wanted to share with all of you who is not familiar where to buy this Gamat stuffs..The tour guide tooks us to the re-known gamat manufacturer.

Mahsuri Tomb

A view inside of Kota Mahsuri.

View of "buaian" in one of the house... I forget who's house. It did states who's house is this.

Nice view of paddy field. This view was captured at "Telaga Mahsuri" / Mahsuri Well. It believes that if you use the water well, you will looks like Mahsuri's skin texture... This was told by our tour guide. ^_^ P/s: I did not touch the water well anyway.

One of the interesting stuffs..

Padang Matsirat (Pasar Malam)

A view of my dinner & supper.

After hanging around, we return to our hotel. It was so tiring & exhausted. We sweat a lot too cos it is sunny plus the air-cond is not functioning well.

At evening time, we went to Langkasuka Beach Resort for beach /sea-side viewing... Stay tuned for the next post.
